Mosquitoes are much more attracted by people during the process of food intake, especially if eating fruits, grains and other foods rich with natural carbohydrates.

When eating such a food, your blood and body smell becomes more attractive to biting insects. You can avoid eating too much of such food in the periods when mosquitoes are too active. Also eating more onion and garlic may help to make you less attractive for mosquitoes.

In summertime you can avoid places near to standing water, with little sunlight. These places are favorite inhabitations for mosquitoes. Try to make picnics in areas with fresh air breezing, mosquitoes do not like this. At home it is also recommended to avoid standing water in buckets, trenches or any other ‘water bodies’.
